Why We Started
 
Little Dog Angel was started to honor the memory of our beloved beagle Duncan. 
 
Duncan passed into the Lord's hands in June of 2009.  The diagnosis was fungal meningitis which is a rare disease seemingly derived by ingesting a foreign matter.
 
Our quest to heal Duncan was a five-month path of pursuit for answers and despair.
 
When we began witnessing similar symptoms in our other beagle, coupled with the vast findings of toxic substances that many manufacturers use in pet food, we ceased the use of store-bought treats and dog food and we began to make our own.
 
The hard work in starting this company has been therapeutic in our loss, but we now realize that our purpose for Little Dog Angel has a higher calling.

Owner's Message:  Duncan was a very beautiful, active, and perfectly healthy dog.  One day he just wasn't himself and was quickly hospitalized for over five months.  We fought as hard as Duncan did during this time, searching night and day for an explanation for his sudden illness.  What we found were countless others that had suffered loss due to feeding their pets commercial food.  Our path therefore has been clearly defined as noted in our mission statement:  Awareness, Education, Charity & Faith.
